Endoscopic Brow Lift
The goal of an endoscopic brow lift is to elevate the eyebrows and restore a more youthful and rested appearance to the upper third of the face. Unlike other types of brow lift procedures, an endoscopic brow lift utilizes small incisions behind the hairline to achieve elevation of the brows.
Descent of the eyebrows, also known as brow ptosis, is a characteristic sign of aging. People with brow ptosis are often perceived as tired or angry despite being well rested and in a good mood. Other contributing causes include genetics, repetitive facial expressions, and significant weight loss.
An endoscopic brow lift, also known as an endoscopic forehead lift, is a cosmetic outpatient surgical procedure used to lift and rejuvenate the forehead and brow area. It can help achieve a more alert, friendly expression and improve self-confidence.
- An endoscopic brow utilizes small incisions behind the hairline. This results in smaller, shorter scars.
- The endoscope provides improved visualization of the vital structures deep to the brow, like nerves. This reduces the risk of unintended damage and complications.
- By repositioning the brows and underlying tissues, the procedure provides a natural looking result.
- The procedure addresses multiple aesthetic concerns simultaneously. An endoscopic brow lift can lift sagging brows, smooth forehead wrinkles, and improve the contours of the brow and forehead area, leading to a more balanced and refreshed appearance of the upper face.
An endoscopic brow lift is primarily performed to improve the following cosmetic concerns:
- Sagging eyebrows
- Forehead wrinkles
- Frown Lines
- Hooded Eyelids
At your consultation, Dr. Moore will review your medical history and perform a thorough evaluation of the forehead, brows, and eyes to determine if you are a good candidate for surgery. Based on your preferences and anatomy, Dr. Moore will recommend the surgical technique that he feels is most suitable to address your individual needs and achieve your desired result. Patients who are in good health, do not smoke, are not prone to excessive scarring, and have no significant eye problems are typically good candidates. If Dr. Moore determines that you are a good candidate for surgery, he will review the risks and benefits of the procedure with you.
